Melt together:
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. butter

Then add:
1/3 c. almond butter
1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. buttermilk
1 t. vanilla

Beat in, one at a time:
4 eggs

Separately, whisk together:
1 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa powder
1/2 t. salt

Fold the two mixtures together then add:
1 c. chopped nuts (optional, recommended: almonds or hazelnuts. save some to sprinkle on top)

Pour into a parchment lined 8″ square dish & bake for 30 minutes at 350
